Broadbit is the Slovakian SME who won the Innovation Radar prize awarded in ICT 2015, in Lisbon. András Kovács, Broadbit managing director, believes that sodium-based batteries will revolutionise the sector of electric vehicles.
The Innovation Radar started last year to assess the maturity of innovations developed within EU funded projects and to help innovators fulfil the market potential of these innovations. 14 shortlisted innovators are now competing for the first ever IR Prize. The Innovation Radar published its first survey, after analysing 279 projects funded by two European research programmes. These projects produced 517 innovations, mostly related to data processing or software development.
