    Winners of the European film contest were announced today. The European Commission launched the contest at the beginning of this year to promote Europe's unique diversity of films, TV programmes and video games among young Europeans and the general public. Participants were asked to identify 25 films and other audiovisual works that received support from the Creative Europe MEDIA programme.

    MEDIA continues its stakeholders'dialogue under the European Film Forum (EFF) series with the next EFF taking place on 6th of April. Organised for the first time in Vilnius, the EFF will focus on promotion and prominence of audiovisual works, tackling topics that are particularly relevant for smaller scale markets, but at the same time are equally important for the European film industry as a whole.
