The 14th annual congress of the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE) will feature many interesting health tech related topics and EU-funded projects on integrated care and mild cognitive impairment.

The AAATE congress addresses the global challenge of meeting the needs of the increasing number of people who could benefit from assistive technologies to improve their lives. The programme includes sessions on digital solutions for dementia, robotics, universal design, sight and hearing loss, ICT learning and digital inclusion, apps and games.

This year's event will put many EU-funded projects in the spotlights such as SCIROCCO and ProACT 2020 on integrated care for the elderly across the European regions, and INLIFE: Development and testing of a monitoring system assisting patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The ENRICHME project will present its preliminary tests of their robotic solution for assisting people with MCI at home.
