Martin Törngren is a Professor in Embedded Control Systems at the Mechatronics division at KTH in Stockholm since 2002. He has particular interest in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), model based engineering, architectural design, autonomous systems, and systems integration. He has authored over 130 peer reviewed publications; developed and led graduate and continued education programs and courses. He spent time as a post-doc at the EU-JRC, and a 1 year sabbatical (2011/12) at Univ. of California at Berkeley. In 1996 he co-founded the company Fengco Real-time Control AB and in 2016 he co-founded DataFrame.
He is the KTH representative in the Artemis industrial association and the Director of ICES – the KTH-industry competence network in embedded and CPS.
