What should you see, visit and attend at ICT 2015 conference

  • Meet the ICT European Innovators and Researchers in the exhibition. See, touch and try tomorrow’s robots, applications and objects. More than 100 of the best European ICT Research & Innovation results were exhibiting in the three villages Innovate; Connect; Transform .
  • Do not miss the first-ever off-site exhibition, held from 18 to 22 October in a custom-built panoramic pavilion on the Praça do Comércio. Under the theme “What European ICT is doing for you?” it presented projects with current impact in our every-day life. No matter the age.
  • Follow the conference debates. High European politicians and some of the most distinguished European researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs will discuss about the newest policies and initiatives on Research & Innovation in ICT. Among them: Members of the European Commission Mr. Oettinger and Mr. Moedas, Nobel Prize in Physics in 2010 Kostya Novoselov, and Director of the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine Research Centre Juelich in Germany Mrs. Katrin Amunts,
  • Visit the Startup Europe Forum to find out concrete EU policy actions for startups and small and medium enterprisess (SME), innovators, private and public investors.
  • Do not miss the Prizes Awards for the Innovation Radar and FIWARE challenge, but also for the projects exhibiting at ICT 2015 conference.
  • Dedicated sessions to Horizon 2020 Work programme 2016-2017, offering detailed information on the funding opportunities in ICT sector.
Special events for the press include press points on 20 October with Member of the European Commission, Mr. Oettinger and on 21 October with Member of the European Commission, Mr Moedas and with Director-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology of the European Commission, Mr. Roberto Viola, dedicated daily press briefings and the possibility to meet each speaker after their presentations in the “meet the speakers” points. Also, on 21 October an informal meeting with Senior Innovation Adviser to the European Commission, Mr. Robert Madelin.
