The Commission organises a Facebook live chat to explain and answer questions on the new European Portability rules. The regulation allows people to travel with their digital subscription across EU countries, and starts to apply on 1 April 2018.

Films, series, music, sports, video games or ebooks – more and more Europeans use paid digital subscription to access content online. But many of them are not able to enjoy their legally purchased services when travelling to another EU country. 

The new Portability rules start to apply from 1 April 2018, and allow citizens to travel with their digital subscription across Europe.

The Facebook Live chat with Claire Bury

Tthe Commission organises an interactive online Live Chat on Tuesday 20 March at 10:45 to explain the changes and answer possible questions. Claire Bury, Deputy Director General from the Directorate-General Communications Networks, Content and Technology will be ready to reply to comments and questions sent by the online community.

The chat will be streamed via the central European Commission Facebook Page and Twitter account.
