116 000 - Missing children

In Germany 89% of citizens find hotlines for missing children very useful or fairly useful. The number has been assigned on 16/03/2011 to Initiative Vermisste Kinder, and it is operational since 17/08/2011.

116 111 - Child helplines

83% of citizens find child helplines very useful or fairly useful. The number has been assigned on 02/06/2008 to Nummer gegen Kummer e.V, and is operational since 05/12/2011.

116 123 - Emotional support helpline

91% of citizens find emotional support helplines very useful or fairly useful. The number has been assigned on 06/08/2008 to Katholische Bundes-arbeitsgemeinschaft für Ehe, Familien und Lebensberatung, Telefonseelsorge und Offene Tüuuml;r e.V, and it is operational since 04/05/2009.  

116 006 - Victims of crime

In 2011, 94% of Germans find victims of crimes helpline very useful or fairly useful. The number has been assigned on 15/06/2010 to Weisser Ring e.V, and it is operational since 10/09/2010.

116 117 - Non-emergency medical Assistance

In 2011, 83% of Germans Non/emergency medical assistance very useful or fairly useful. The number has been assigned on 15/06/2010 to Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung and will be operational in 2012.

Disabled access to hotlines and helplines

Relatively few respondents agreed that enough was being done to help users with a disability to access hotlines and helplines. 25 % of people agree that enough is being done. However, more than double people (53%) disagree that enough is being done to help citizens with a disability, while many respondents (22%) say they do not know whether enough is being done in their country to help citizens with a disability to access these types of services.

Adequacy of information about hotlines and helplines of social value

Most people in Germany do not think that citizens of their country are adequately informed about the existence of hotlines and helplines of social value . Only 12% of respondents agree that people in their country are adequately informed, while 84% disagree that people in their country receive adequate information about these helplines.
