The European emergency number 112 is not the only emergency number in Italy.
The national emergency numbers are:
- 113 - police
- 115 - fire brigade
- 118 - first aid
Different regional and local solutions such as, e-mail, SMS to long numbers, Flag Mii and Where ARE U applications have been deployed in order to allow access to emergency services for users with disabilities. However, these facilities are not available in the whole territory.
