The European Commission Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content & Technology (DG CONNECT) works for the Member of the Commission responsible for the Digital Economy and Society, Günther H. Oettinger, who is part of the Digital Single Market Project Team, led by Vice-President, Andrus Ansip.
Our main objective is to develop a Digital Single Market in order to generate smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in Europe. We work with colleagues from across the DSM project team.
We also work to achieve one of the seven pillars of the Europe 2020 Strategy, which sets objectives for the growth of the European Union (EU) by 2020.
