112 is the single emergency number in Denmark.

The European emergency number 112 is the only emergency number in Denmark.

The average time to answer a 112 call is 10 seconds. It is possible to call 112 from a mobile phone even without a SIM card. In addition to Danish, the calls are answered in English, Swedish and Norwegian.

A 112 Application is available for Danish citizens that can provide a 10-60 meters accuracy of the caller. 

According to the latest E-communications household and telecom single market survey, 49% of Danes know they can use 112 everywhere in the EU.

Hearing and speech impaired people can communicate through text with emergency services subject to pre-registration.
