<p>On 16 September 2025, the European Commission published an interview with the Single Digital Gateway implementation team from Spain. Carlos Treviño Castillo from the Department of Interoperability, State Agency for Digital Administration is leading the implementation of an innovative technical system in Spain. He was joined by José Antonio Eusamio, subdirectorate-general for the promotion of public sector digitalisation State Agency for Digital Administration and lead developer of the Spanish Data Intermediation Platform.</p>

<p>The Once-Only Technical System will help automate cross-border administrative procedures such as when registering a car or a business in another EU country.</p>
