Public consultation of eDelivery AS4 2.0 and SMP 2.0 profiles open, set to end on . No feedback received so far.
A significant contribution to a third party library (Apache WSS4J™ - Web Services Security for Java) is being prepared to be submitted to the library maintainers. This contribution will enable both Domibus (as of version 6.0) and all other Java-based eDelivery Access Point implementations to be able to implement support for the algorithms introduced by the new profile.
Domibus 5.1.1 (significant) bug fix release postponed to the in order to include the latest fixes introduced in 5.0.7 and a further postponement might be required due to additional bugs recently detected.
Domibus 5.2 RC development activities ongoing in parallel, but the roadmap of 2024-2025 may have to be reviewed in light of the extensive work required for Domibus 5.0.6, 5.0.7 and 5.1.1 patch releases.
DomiSML 4.3 RC released on the . DomiSML 4.3 FR is planned for .
With the migration to the new conformance testing platform complete, work is ongoing to:
strengthen the testing of the eDelivery Common Profile (the mandatory part of the profile that is implemented by all conformant products)
extend the tests to allow software vendors and service providers to test their products/services also against all the optional parts of the eDelivery AS4 1.15 profile, as currently only 2 (of 6) such optional profile parts are testable.
Miscellaneous
Significant developments:
DIGIT provided the last round of comments to the draft Implementing Regulation for eFTI and will discuss them with DG MOVE.
DIGIT preparing to send comments to a Luxembourg-led study about eDelivery to ensure the building block is correctly portrayed.
DIGIT received a request for collaboration from the eArchiving building block in order to technically support and, on a communication level, promote the eArchiving building block to institutional users of eDelivery who may have this requirement.
Project support:
Initial request to support collection of statistics in Peppol was reworked into a generic approach (to be implemented) in order to support statistics collection in any project.
Request to support qualified certificate received (indirectly) from the Belgian federal government. Under analysis, but it may involve cooperation with the eSignature building block.

The number of handled SMT tickets increased in August 2023 compared to the previous month, while the number of opened SMT tickets remained stable during the last 4 months. Requests from are questions on Domibus and the different plugins, Domibus migration and migration scripts, AS4 connectivity test issues, etc.

There was a total of 580 emails in the FMB. We have removed 62 emails for SML Inconsistency and 7 emails from PKI CommisSign from the count, which makes a total of 511 received mails for the reporting month.
