📢 🆕 Attention all eInvoicing stakeholders and the wider public: ✒️ It's time to share your thoughts! 🔊take part in our eInvoicing Call for Evidence! 🎤 The European Commission recently launched the public consultation on "VAT in the digital age". The consultation covers how tax authorities can use technology to fight against tax fraud while benefiting businesses, and on whether the current VAT rules are adapted to business activities in the digital age. A legislative proposal is foreseen for 2022 on ‘VAT in the digital age’, which will cover: - VAT reporting obligations and e-invoicing - VAT treatment of the platform economy - single EU VAT registrationlaunches today the 👉 eInvoicing Call for Evidence: Evaluation of Directive 2014/55/EU on Electronic Invoicing in Public Procurement. The Call for Evidence invites all relevant stakeholders to provide hands-on feedback regarding the: - effects of the Directive on the internal market;
- uptake of eInvoicing in public procurement;
- extent to which the Directive has been successful in meeting its objectives since its implementation;
- added value of synergies with further EU initiatives;
- efficiency of eInvoicing in terms of costs and benefits; and
- need for a revision of the Directive.
The consultation will be open for feedback until 17 February 2022. until 📅 14 April2023. |
