<p>Funding is allocated to projects using short research cycles targeting the most promising ideas in the field of Next Generation Internet (NGI) research. This grants call supports projects from outstanding academic researchers, hi-tech startups and SMEs. There are four themes to this call, including NGI ZERO ENTRUST, focused on trust in the new web, and NGI Zero Core which seeks to build an open a free and open internet. </p>
