Telerik Academy by Telerik, the leading provider of application development tools and solutions, is a free tech-ed initiative in Bulgaria, offering one-year professional ICT education program to 1000s of Bulgarian students and to many ICT workers, looking to refresh their current skills for the new digital jobs. In 2013, the Academy trains in Bulgaria 1,500 students onsite, and online – 5000+ students.

  • Online tech-ed platform - Telerik pledges in the future to scale and multiply the effect of its education initiative from 1 country (Bulgaria) to all 28 EU member states by creating an online tech-ed platform to share its 1000+ video lectures, translated into English. Thus, Telerik’s initiative will possibly train online 500,000 to 1 million people in the EU by the end of 2015.
  • EU partner network - To scale the initiative to other EU countries, Telerik is also open to partner with other local organizations throughout the EU who share the same mission as that of Telerik Academy. Telerik pledges to provide the Academy program curriculum, all educational resources, teaching materials, know-how and guidelines in English to all partners, wishing to take upon the initiative to train skilled professionals for the ICT industry.
