FARSEEING is collecting data about real-life falls of older adults, in order to better understand the risk factors for falls. Based on this, solutions are developed to prevent older adults from falling. This also includes exercises to stay fit. In addition, they have studied how to encourage older adults to take-up and maintain use of these technologies.
FARSEEING has published a White Paper
that provides an update on the findings from the project so far and, where possible, gives useful recommendations for researchers, engineers, health and social care and the third sector (e.g. charities).
