ePractice brings together policy makers and practitioners in the fields of eGovernment, eHealth and eInclusion, through a number of communities. Joinup, on the other hand, has communities of developers and a catalogue of interoperability solutions. Both ePractice and Joinup users will benefit from the consolidation of the applications into a single platform, which aims at providing a direct link between the solutions and the practitioners. ePractice will be migrated to the Joinup platform by the end of June 2014. On 5 December the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council (TTE) adopted the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), the future funding instrument for the trans-European networks (TEN) in the fields of transport, energy and telecommunications

Of the total CEF-budget 1014-2020 (EUR 33,242,259,000) EUR 1,141,602,000 is allocated to the telecommunications sector, which includes Digital Service Infrastructures for Digital Public Services (eGovernment).
