EU-funded project MiWaveS to help develop next 5G networks

A consortium of 15 leading telecommunications operators, vendors, research centres and academic institutions have launched MiWaveS (Millimeter-Wave Small Cell Access and Backhauling). This EU-funded project will develop millimeter-wave (mmW) key radio technologies to enable better data transmissions to the future 5G networks users.
