Offer free MOOCs - Mass Open Online Courses, in order to fight the digital literacy gap in Italy.

In January 2012 DIDASCA - The First Italian Cyber School for Lifelong Learning, rolled out an initiative titled "Banda Larga & Menti Acute", whose aim is to fight the digital literacy gap in Italy and foster the Google Skills in schools and business.

In the context of this programme, learning materials are delivered as free MOOCs - Mass Open Online Courses and are supported by Google+ Hangouts on Air lectures held by DIDASforce - Task Force for Innovation in Education.

"PerCorsi Didasca" start on the first Thursday of every month and currently there is no limit for enrollment.

Optionally, learners that have completed their courses can certify their competences for a nominal fee. Certificates of Mastery include Mozilla Open Badges.

Finally, in October 2013, DIDASCA started the building of "DIDASpedia", a social learning platform, which will involve up to 100.000 headmasters, teachers, students and family members.
