Relations with the National Parliaments

This newsletter on the National Parliaments offers a new forum for communication and dialogue.

While primarily for internal use and aimed at coordinators responsible for the National Parliaments in the Directorates-General, this newsletter is also open to the European Parliament and the national assemblies, as well as all citizens of the European Union.

This newsletter has the simple aim of shedding light on the principal actors in inter-parliamentary relations : Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament responsible for relations with the National Parliaments, committees specialized in European affairs in the National Parliaments, COSAC, Permanent Representatives of the National Parliaments, services of the European Parliament, IPEX (Interparliamentary EU Information Exchange), etc.

To do so, we wished to give the floor to some of these actors to give them the opportunity of presenting their projects and visions.

After these initial presentations of actors, the time for dialogue on the major initiatives launched by the Commission will follow.
