DG ECFIN intends to award several contracts for "research fellowships" to leading economists in the course of 2012, each for an amount between €10,000-€25,000; the chosen fellows' main task will be to prepare a specific paper/study/essay on an agreed subject/outline.

The fellows should also be available to consult with ECFIN on a continuous basis and to take part in meetings in the course of the fellowship.

DG ECFIN plans the publication of the related tender specifications, including detailed information regarding the submission of offers, in the 2nd quarter of 2012 at this website.

Interested parties are invited to regularly check this webpage since this will be the only means of publishing the tender specifications.
