Pre-information notice for a low value contract - organization of seminar in Dublin, Ireland – reference ECFIN 2013 005/H

The Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN) is planning to award a contract for the organization of a one day seminar on the troika adjustment programme for Ireland, to be held in Dublin on 22 November 2013.

We are looking for an institution, with an economic background, to handle the organization, administration and operational issues relating to the event. The tasks include but are not limited to: the call and selection of economic papers in consultation with DG ECFIN, the selection of the venue, the management of the speakers and the attendees list in consultation with DG ECFIN, the organization of all travel arrangements and the running of the event itself.

The indicative budget for the seminar will be €40,000, all costs included.

DG ECFIN intends to invite potential candidates and send them the tender specifications with full details during the month of April 2013. This invitation/notice is in no way binding on the European Commission. The Commission's contractual obligation commences only upon signature of the contract with the successful candidate. Up to the point of signature, DG ECFIN may either abandon the procurement or cancel the award procedure, without the candidates being entitled to claim any compensation. Candidates will be notified.
