Mariya Gabriel, the Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, and Hermann Parzinger, Executive Vice-President of Europa Nostra co-hosted an online event on 25 May to announce the winners of the 2021 European Heritage Awards/Europa Nostra Awards.

This EU prize honours 24 excellent initiatives and outstanding personalities from 18 European countries in 4 categories:

The online vote to select the Public Choice Award winner among these 24 exceptional laureates is open until 5 September.
