Summary:

The European Union Prize for Literature is an annual initiative to recognise the best emerging authors in Europe.

The 2014 event will introduce a variety of authors, include Janne Teller, Marica Bodrožić (winner of the 2013 prize), Mely Kiak, Katri Lipson (winner of the 2013 prize), and Michail Schischkin.

Together, they will address a variety of questions on Europe and the European Union, while the keynote address will be given by Androulla Vassiliou, the European Comissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism, and Youth.
