What is it for?
To stimulate interest in, and improve access to, European audio-visual works, in particular through promotion, events, film literacy and festivals.
What does it support?
Creative Europe's support to audience development projects includes support to promote film literacy and audience development events.
In the case of film literacy, this involves projects that promote better cooperation between film literacy initiatives to improve their efficiency and their European dimension.
In the case of audience development, support is provided to initiatives that focus on the programming of important and successful non-national, European films on distribution platforms, as well as promotional activities.
Who can take part?
All European entities (e.g. private companies, non-profit organisations, associations, charities, foundations, municipalities, town councils, etc.) established in a country participating in the Media sub programme and owned directly or by majority participation, by nationals from such countries.
Individuals cannot apply for a grant.
