Product name: Rico Germicidal Soap
Contains 3% potassium mercuric iodide. The use of this substance in cosmetic products is prohibited under the provisions of the Cosmetics Directive (76/768/EEC, Annex II, entry 221). Like most mercury compounds, the toxicity profile of this substance is such that it is likely to pose serious risks to the health of consumers when they are exposed orally, dermally or by inhalation. On the basis of its toxicity profile the substance has been classified as toxic by the oral, dermal and inhalation routes and as corrosive under the provisions of the Dangerous Substances Directive (67/548/EEC). Sales ban ordered by the authorities.

The adjustable parts on both sides of the handle can suddenly break, separately or simultaneously, leaving the parent without any control over the pushchair or the child.
An accident was reported to the Swedish Consumer Agency: when pulling the pushchair up a small stair the adjustable parts on both sides of the handle suddenly broke and the 4-day-old child fell out.
