Type of risk: Burns and fire.
The toy-appearance is likely to be attractive to children. The risk of burns is increased by the absence of any labelling or instruction as to how the flame is produced which can lea to accidental ignition if children playing with the lighters.
Supply to the market banned by the authorities.
02 Spain

Rattles.
Blister with four plastic rattles of various shapes (Ref. 58220).

Type of risk: Choking.
Non-compliant with the Toys Directive and relevant European standards: In case of impact or drop, the rattles may break off and crack producing small parts that can be swallowed, potentially causing choking.
Withdrawal from the market ordered by the authorities.
03 United Kingdom

Garden Furniture.
Brand: Woolworths.

05 United Kingdom

Toy: "Powerful laser pointer".
The toy looks like a revolver and emits a red light laser beam.

Type of risk: Eye injury.
The product is wrongly classified: while it belongs to class 3B it is presented as a less powerful class 2 laser pointer. Such powerful lasers pose potential risks to the eyes.
The placing on the market suspended by the authorities.
06 Finland

Recreational Craft "Aquador HT 22 & C22".
Recreational craft for 6 persons (production stopped in 2002), with a 150kW or 165kW engine.

Type of risk: Sinking.
The front cockpit drainage leads into the anchor box which is not watertight. When the water reaches a certain level, the anchor box leaks into the living compartment. The water cannot be seen during the use or operation of the craft. Above a certain inside water level, the craft may sink or be subject to a total blackout (engine stops, electrical system fails).
