Global Jean Monnet/ECSA World Conference discussed Lisbon Treaty
Leading policy-makers and academics have wrapped up a two-day discussion about the impact of the Lisbon Treaty on the European Union at the Global Jean Monnet-European Community Studies Association (ECSA) World Conference in Brussels.
In her closing speech Androulla Vassiliou, Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, stressed the importance of analytical approach towards the EU, in particular in a period of serious challenges the Union is confronted with today.
