Paris climate change conference (COP21/CMP11)

30/11/2015 - 12/12/2015

At the UN climate conference (COP21) in Paris in December 2015, 195 countries adopted the first-ever universal, legally binding global climate deal – the Paris Agreement on climate change.

The EU and its Member States took part as parties to the UN climate change convention and worked actively to achieve a successful outcome that will accelerate the global shift  to low-carbon, climate-resilient economies.
