FixEurope Campus

08/09/2014

European Alternatives are delighted to inform you of the upcoming #FixEurope Campus which European Alternatives is organising from Oct 21-24 in Berlin which will bring together citizens, civil society activists, members of movements, organisations and networks from throughout the continent.

After having run a series of large scale projects over the years dedicated to building a transnational movement connecting the struggles of Europe’s citizens, it is now the right time to come together, unite our ideas, practices, and proposals to build on our common struggles for democracy and equality in Europe and beyond.

Activists, civil society, organisations, movements, from across Europe will take part in a three-day campus environment for reflection, learning and organising strategically. The Campus has the aim of building and sharing knowledge and actions relating to:

  • influencing policy making / building citizens lobbies
  • bringing grassroots practices and local change to a transnational dimension
  • building networks and connecting (online and offline) communities

The #FixEurope Campus will be about defining political priorities for the year ahead and will be a good opportunity for us to exchange common reflections, practices and build up on project ideas that we can take up collaboratively. To close the campus, a public conference will be held on Saturday October 25th held at the Heinrich-Böll Foundation in the centre of Berlin opened by Saskia Sassen.

Given your involvement in civil society organisations and our interest in collaborating with you, we do hope you will consider applying to the campus.
