What's New

Two calls for proposals concerning agricultural products implemented in the internal market and in third countries to restore market situation in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014 have been published on 30 June 2020 with submission deadline of 27 August 2020. Submission will open on 7 July 2020.

Eligibility is limited to specific sectors listed in the Call, and programmes shall be implemented over the period of one year.

Info session on the 2020 Additional Calls for Proposals

In relation to the publication of the additional 2020 calls for proposals concerning agricultural products implemented in the internal market and in third countries to restore market situation in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014, DG AGRI will organise an on-line info session for potential applicants.

EU pavilions in 2020: SIAL China and Alimentaria Mexico

The EU will participate in SIAL China (Shanghai) and Alimentaria (Mexico) with an institutional pavilion. The EU pavilion will offer an immersive experience around the quality, safety and authenticity of a wide variety of EU agricultural food and beverage products through information sessions, cooking shows and master classes, products tastings, pairing and quizzes.

Campaign in the spotlight

A trip to Europe in every bite. EU communication campaign in Mexico

Trip to europe

Under the signature "Enjoy it´s from Europe", and with the revamped EU – Mexico Trade Agreement just finalized on April 28th 2020, the European Commission will implement a communication campaign in Mexico on food and beverages. The campaign will run from summer 2020 till summer 2023, and will include different events and activities for businesses and consumers as well as strong online and media presence on Instagram and Facebook. The main objective is to create a positive image of EU agricultural food and beverages in the country in order to help increase demand and market share of the promoted products in the country.
