EU Pavillion 2020

The EU will participate in at Alimentaria (Mexico) on 16-18 October 2020 with an institutional pavilion. The EU pavilion will offer an immersive experience around the quality, safety and authenticity of a wide variety of EU agricultural food and beverage products through information sessions, cooking shows, products tastings and pairings.

The main objectives of the presence are:

DG AGRI will organize an on-line info session for potential applicants following the publication of the 2020 Additional Calls for Proposals concerning agricultural products implemented in the internal market and in third countries to restore market situation in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014.

In relation to the publication of the 2020 calls for proposals for grants for information provision and promotion measures concerning agricultural products, Chafea will organise an info day for potential applicants.

Similar to past info days, speakers from the European Commission and Chafea will present the Annual Work Programme 2020 as well as the calls. The info day will also feature a de-briefing on the own initiatives of the European Commission.
