The ‘Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Administration of Activities of Overseas Nongovernmental Organizations in the Mainland of China’ was adopted by the National People’s Congress Standing Committee on 28 April 2016, and is in force since 1 January 2017. It may have an impact on trade associations and producer associations who are beneficiaries of EU-funded grants for Promotion measures concerning agricultural products implemented in mainland China.
