About CEF eTranslation

eTranslation is a Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) building block. Its main goal is to help European and national public administrations exchange information across language barriers in the EU, by providing machine translation capabilities that will enable all Digital Service Infrastructures (DSIs) to be multilingual. Public administrations, citizens and businesses in the EU will thus be able to use digital services in the language they choose.

1st CEF eTranslation Conference

Tools and services for making public services multilingual

When:  29 and 30 November 2018

Where: HILTON BRUSSELS GRAND PLACE, Carrefour de l'Europe 3, 1000 Brussels, Belgium

For public services and administrations all over Europe, information exchange across borders is not only vital – but also increasingly difficult because of language barriers. If you too are lost in translation and interested in experiencing the possibilities of CEF eTranslation tools and services, please come and join us at the 1st CEF eTranslation Conference, which will take place at the Hilton Brussels Grand Place on 29 & 30 November 2018.

Funded by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), CEF eTranslation allows digital public services to become multilingual. The 1st CEF eTranslation Conference will showcase how CEF eTranslation helps you achieve this goal. This event does not only include best practice examples of how to successfully integrate eTranslation within public services, but also dedicated use cases of the deployment of various other language tools and technologies such as cross-lingual search, interactive machine translation/post-editing, semantic interoperability, etc.
