1. Introduction

eHDSI Wave 1 deploying countries are closer then ever to start routine operations.

The journey so far has been full of challenges, normative and creative solutions, but never straightforward.

For that reason above all, the 2018 eHDSI Technical Boot-camp appears as a lighthouse event for any eHDSI country, independently of the aiming deployment wave.


Value proposition for Participants

Value for Wave 1 countries:

  • Share learnt lessons from the deployment journey
  • Address the new arrangements required regarding routine operations
  • Consolidate or challenge current solutions
  • Express concerns for next waves (when launching new services)
  • Get acquainted with SW solutions and networking arrangements

  • Learn from the experience of pioneers (wave 1)
  • Understand the complexity of decisions that need to take place at national level
  • Become aware on solution requirements and design for wave 2
  • Understand the timings for the wave 2 technical deployment plan.

  • Pre-Installed version of the latest available version of the OpenNCP;

  • National strategy/design for the National Connector (for NCP-A);

  • National strategy/design for Health Professional Portal (for NCP-B);

  • 3 evolution proposals in the OpenNCP (e.g. technical dimension, functional, architectural)
