The European Commission would like to introduce you to its two data Building Blocks, Context Broker and Big Data Test Infrastructure (BDTI), during a webinar on 9 July 2019, 10:00 - 12:00 (CET)

Context Broker and BDTI can help you make sense of the data available through your city's information systems, and make the right decisions to improve the public services you offer to your citizens. This webinar will also present the funding opportunities of the Public Open Data Call for Proposals opening on the 4th of July.

Empower smart innovation, use Context Broker and BDTI.

Context Broker is a standard-based API allowing users to collect, integrate and contextualise near real-time data. It is often used by cities to track real-time actions and to make real-time decisions.
For example, Context Broker enables the use of IoT data to prevent hostile behaviour and noise pollution on a bustling steet in Eindhoven.

BDTI is a testing infrastructure offering virtual environment templates to explore and experiment with various data sources, software tools and big data techniques. This allows public administrations to focus on gathering knowledge, insight and value from their data, instead of setting up and maintaining a complex experimental environment.

The two Building Blocks are part of the CEF "Data Value Chain":
