Trafficking in Human Beings Prevention Week
The National Agency against Trafficking in Persons will carry on, during 16th to 22nd of October, at national level, for the sixth consecutive year, the campaign "Trafficking in Human Beings Prevention Week" to mark the 11th EU Anti-Trafficking Day.
The prevention activities carry on within the "Trafficking in Human Beings Prevention Week" will aim to inform the general public about the dimensions and forms of manifestation of trafficking in human beings as well as to strengthen the self-protection capacity to the threats of this phenomenon among vulnerable groups.
In this respect, over 160 prevention activities (see the list attached) will be organized in partnership with public and nongovernmental organizations in schools, high schools, universities, shelters, prefecture, bar associations and other institutions.
Also, on 18th October 2017, in Bucharest, will be organize a National Conference to mark the Eu Anti-Trafficking Day with the participation of the state secretary from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry for Romanian Abroad, Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and other senior officials involved in the fight against human beings.
