This comprehensive strategy presents an evaluation of UNODC’s contribution to the international effort to combat trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants.
According to the evaluation, UNODC developed a multi‐faceted response to better deal with the complexity and multi-faceted problems of human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
UNODC work occurs in three inter‐related and mutually reinforcing areas: research and awareness raising, promotion of the Protocols and capacity-building the strengthening of partnerships and coordination.
