The Faculty of Laws of the University of Malta in collaboration with the Office of the European Commission against Trafficking in Human Beings cordially invite you to a public seminar on:

The European Union Response to Trafficking in Children

Dr Myria Vassiliadou, EU Anti-Trafficking Coordinator, European Commission, will present the new and comprehensive EU legal and policy framework for addressing trafficking in human beings, with a special focus on children and child trafficking. She will also address the challenges for prosecuting and convicting traffickers, using a human rights and victims’ centred approach. 

The seminar will be inaugurated by Professor Kevin Aquilina, Dean of the Faculty of Laws, and is co-ordinated by Professor Frances Camilleri-Cassar, Faculty of Laws.
