This page contains the methods and electronic forms in relation to Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) or Protected Geographical Indications (PGI) enabling the communication of the information required for the purposes of applying Commission Regulation (EC) No 607/2009 as well as the documents and information whose publication is the responsibility of the Commission pursuant to that Regulation.

I. Practical arrangements concerning the communication and provision of the information referred to in Article 70a (2) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 607/2009

In order to obtain information on the practicalities of accessing information systems, communications and the provision of information, the authorities and persons affected by this Regulation should contact the Commission at the following address:

II. Methods and electronic forms should be sent by electronic means to the address indicated below

 

  1. Application to register a protected designation of origin or protected geographical indication (*)
  2. Single document (*)
  3. Opposition to a protected designation of origin or protected geographical indication
  4. Request to amend a protected designation of origin or protected geographical indication (*)
  5. Request to cancel a protected designation of origin or protected geographical indication
  6. Request to convert a protected designation of origin into a protected geographical indication (*)

(*) The methods and forms marked with an asterisk (*) are sent by the competent authorities of the Member States, exclusively through the E-Caudalie information system, accessible via the AWAI Portal, which is the entry point for all Web applications of the DG Agriculture and Rural Development (https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/agriportal/awaiportal/).
