Following the adoption on 25 June 2014 of the European Union Guidelines for State aid in the agriculture and forestry sector and in rural areas 2014 to 2020, new notification forms have been formally established through Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/246 of 3 February 2016 amending Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 794/2004 as regards the forms to be used for the notification of State aid in the agricultural and forestry sectors and in rural areas.

The forms are available in all official EU languages except Irish.

A notification must be accompanied by the General notification form (Form 0.) and the specific notification form(s) related to the measure(s) concerned.

In addition, for forestry and rural areas measures (Chapters 2 and 3 of Part II of the Guidelines), the common forms 2. (for forestry measures) or 3. (for aids in rural areas) must be completed respectively.
