Cork 2.0: European Conference on Rural Development

The European Conference on Rural Development in Cork on 5-6 September 2016 was organised by the European Commission. 300 policy makers and other groups involved in rural development discussed the current and future challenges of farming and rural areas, as well as potential policy responses. The conference set up the "Cork 2.0 declaration", succeeding the "Cork declaration" (1996).
