Organised by the Polish Presidency, the conference touched on the themes of the highest importantance for all the EU promotion policy stakeholders being an important forum for the discussion on the Green Paper on promotion measures and information provision for agricultural products.
Topics related to the future of European promotion policy in the context of the publication of the Green Paper, as well as the presentation of the initial results of the public consultation on the Green Paper were the key focus of the conference.
The review of promotion activities on the basic European agricultural markets was also presented and a debate on the effectiveness of promotion and information activities in the EU sector of agri-food products was held with the participation of the representatives of the European Commission, European Parliament and the key European branch associations. Modern tools of promotion were also discussed.
The conference was held with the participation of the representatives of EU Member States and Candidate Countries, European and Polish branch organizations as well as bodies coordinating the promotion and information activities.
