EU Studies Fair 2012
The Commissioner met students and representatives of universities from across Europe. In her opening speech Androulla Vassiliou highlighted the opportunities provided through the EU's Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Youth in Action and Jean Monnet programmes for young people to boost their skills, development and employability. She outlined 'Erasmus for All ', the Commission's proposed new programme for education, training, youth and sport 2014-2020, aiming to significantly increase and simplify support for study and work placement abroad and for projects with an impact on education systems. The EU Studies Fair is an annual event organised by European Voice focusing on postgraduate study in the fields related to European Integration subjects, in particular to international relations, EU politics, business and law.
