A Polish youngster was involved in an organisation in Mexico, working with girls who have been living in the streets for years, helping them recover their self esteem and avoid violence, prostitution and delinquency by supporting them in achieving a healthy life and developing their skills.
The young person collaborated in activities to help street girls reintegrate into society through a wide range of activities and workshops, also mentoring, supporting and collaborating in classes, supervising and proposing leisure activities and globally sensitizing society about the problem of street children. A fruitful cooperation between EU and Latin America was led, raising international and intercultural awareness on human rights and social issues, and promoting young people’s active participation and social inclusion.
