Sharing experience

Fashion by the New European Generation

Fashion is something every teenage girl is concerned with. But who are the ones creating fashion? How are differences, social, ethnical or even religious ones taken into consideration?
The project promoted an exchange between two different countries through the fashion for young European woman: fashion without discrimination of size, appearance or race, fashion that respects nature and that does not exclude financially underprivileged young people.  The clothes were produced and designed by project participants themselves not by a big company. Each group created their own fashion and style by designing different clothes models in which their own culture and their own vision of fashion were emphasized. The project ended by fashion show and a magazine to share the experiences and ideas.

The aim of the project was to promote through fashion a positive sense of globalization which embraces differences in cultures and ideologies, instead of neutralizing them.
