Opportunities for Young People

Opportunities for Young People

What is it for?

Eramus+ helps young people improve their skills and employment prospects by giving them an opportunity to take part in learning activities abroad. It enables them to discover new cultures and helps to foster a sense of belonging to Europe.

Furthermore, the organisations involved can develop new and innovative approaches to learning and cooperate with organisations based in other countries, as well as share good practices.

What does it support?

Mobility opportunities are available across the EU, and to/from non-EU countries for:

  • Groups of young people from different countries meeting for a short period of time (1 to 3 weeks) to attend a non-formal Youth Exchange;
  • Young people volunteering in different countries through the European Voluntary Service  for periods of between 2 weeks and 12 months;
  • Large scale EVS projects.
