Support to youth policy

What is it for?

To strengthen the youth sector through EU-wide cooperation.
Erasmus+ supports the introduction of new approaches in youth work and better recognition of non formal learning and youth work.

Through supporting dialogue between relevant stakeholders (across and beyond the EU) and encouraging more active participation of young people in policy discussion, it can help the EU to develop more effective policies on youth.

What does it support?

Introduction, exchange and promotion of innovative practices in the youth field. Activities supporting policy dialogue and cooperation on youth issues can comprise:

  • Policy dialogue and cooperation across the EU, and to/from non-EU countries and with international organisations (notably the Council of Europe);
  • Structured dialogue with young people;
  • Partnerships with European youth non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
Who can take part?

Projects can be initiated by youth organisations.
