The Teatrum building in the Millenaris park was buzzing with activity - simultaneous debates were going on in four separate spaces on both days and there was an astonishing appetite for exchange. Speakers came from NGOs, public administrations and the European Commission, but they were also youngsters, often with a lot of talent, wishing to share their mobility experiences with others. More than 50 young volunteers guided the visitors through the programme, while representatives from NGOs and schools talked about their work at special tables set up for this purpose. Saturday night's excellent concert by Magashegyi Underground was the highlight of an already rich cultural programme. Everyone involved considered this Youth on the Move event a good opportunity to learn, exchange and have fun at the same time; a success and an example worth following. It was organised by the European Commission together with the Tempus and Mobilitas agencies responsible for running the EU education and youth programmes in Hungary, in close cooperation with the Budapest municipality.
