Winners of European Diary Contest announced

Cau Jarufe Montagne, Márton Demeter and Balázs Kovács are the winners of the first ever Youth on the Move 'My European Diary' contest. They were selected from among 47 stories and testimonials submitted in the form of videos, photos and texts relating to experiences of studying or working in a different country. Cau has won an iPad, Marton an iPhone and Balázs a digital camera.

More than 2000 people voted for their favorite contributions, all posted on the Youth on the Move page on Facebook - visit us to see the winning and other submitted stories. The contest was launched on Facebook in September with the aim to trigger exchanges between those who have studied or worked abroad and those who might be thinking about doing so. The European Commission will repeat the exercise in the spring of 2011.
